1990Sophomore Year at Serrano High School, I meet with Jeremy Hatheway. We have discussion for future plans on starting a Braille Greeting Card Business.
1/92Jeremy Hatheway passes away, at age 19 from Diabetes.
6/92Graduated from Serrano High School as First Visually Impaired student.
9/92 - 4/93Attended OCB (Orientation Center for the Blind) to learn how too read and write Braille.
1/93Meet with current business partner Dakota Kane at OCB.
2/95Started volunteering at Barksdale AFB Family Services.
4/95Created the 1st Braille Pictured Greeting Cards for (Birthday) due to BAFB Family Services celebration for so many years helping Military Personnel.
4/95Started volunteering at Barksdale AFB Education Center.
11/95Increased to six Braille cards with 6 Braille Picture Designs.
1/96Shadows in the Dark starts business selling Braille Pictured Greeting Cards.
1/31/96Article for Shadows in the Dark in the Shreveport Times Newspaper.
2/96Total cards increased to Fourteen with thirteen Braille Picture Designs.
12/96Shadows in the Dark does well in mail order Christmas Holiday Greeting Card sales.
1/97First Television interview with BPCC Televison Station.

9/97Shadows in the Dark adds Specialty Gift items to list of items to sell.
1997Sales from 1997 increase over 1996 sales.
2/98Retired from doing three years of Volunteer work (3000 + Hours)
3/98Shadows in the Dark adds Braille Pictured Poetry Cards using poetry messages from Poetic Expressions. Total Braille cards increase to 26 with 19 Braille Picture designs.
3/98Shadows in the Dark adds a Card for the Mardi Gras Holiday.
